
About Apex-Brasil
The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) bears the missions of promoting the exports of Brazilian products and services, contributing toward internationalizing Brazilian companies and attracting foreign direct investments into Brazil. Authority in strategy development, Apex-Brasil is a Brazilian government agency reporting to the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.
Currently, Apex-Brasil supports over 12 thousand companies in 80 productive sectors of the Brazilian economy, exporting to 200 markets.The Integrated Sector Projects (PSIs, in Portuguese) are elaborated in partnership with trade associations and develop broad trade promotion actions, such as business rounds, support to the participation of Brazilian companies in major international fairs, visits of foreign buyers to Brazil, among others.
To guide the companies’ strategic decisions on internationalization, the Agency produces business and competitive intelligence studies. Moreover, it supports the capacity building of companies with export potential through the Industrial Extension for Exporting Project (PEIEX in Portuguese), that serves over 5 thousand corporations all over the country.
Another important mission of Apex-Brasil is to coordinate the efforts toward attracting foreign direct investments into the country, focusing on identifying business opportunities and promoting strategic events, thus lending support to foreign investors throughout their operations in Brazil.
Additionally to its headquarters in Brasilia, Apex-Brasil counts on Service Units in Brazilian states and Business Support Centers (BSC) all over the world. The BSC are platforms oriented to assist Brazilian companies in the main global markets.
